Sunset  has been in business since 1987.    

Sunset joined the Chicago chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, (NARI) in 1989 and was one of it's charter members.  Sunset has been recognized as an industry leader. Sunset introduced an unknown concept for the exterior remodeling business by becoming one of the first to open a showroom specifically for siding and replacement windows in Chicagoland.  In 1987, When Bill Highstreet started Sunset we became the first in the area to sell, almost exclusively, vinyl siding and PVC coated aluminum for trim work, rather than the more conventional all aluminum baked enamel products. Today vinyl is the standard in the industry country wide. 

Bill is one of  less than 2000 people in the entire country that has been Certified in VSI's Certified Installer Program.   The Vinyl Siding Institute located in Washington D.C. represents manufacturers of vinyl siding and has written the standard for installation practices and procedures.  You can visit VSI's website at www.vinylsiding.org which is full of good information about, you guessed it, vinyl siding.
